I'm with Tom. Call me.

Your mental health is more important than anyone school attendance, period. Never let anyone, no matter who they are, convince you otherwise. If you require hospitalization in order not to kill yourself, then you need it. Your survival is what counts, not someones tardy record.

Sometimes you have to tell your kids you can't afford to do things, Shannon. It really is that simple. If you don't have the money to go, then you just don't have it. It's part of life, he will get over it and you are just going to have to let it go, let it be that simple. It is that simple.

Take care of yourself.

i really feel for you. i wish i had some magic words of advice to help things. it seems to me that you want so badly to make your family happy, but it seems like an impossible task to do when you're so unhappy yourself.

i've only known you for a short time, but i can tell that you are an intelligent and caring man who is battling demons every day. i know saying "try and hang in there" is ridiculous coming from an online friend, but i want you to know that i am truly a friend.

like i said before, i wish i had something to say that would make it all better. sorry i don't.
